Cappuccino
Double espresso, velvet-steamed milk, a cap of foam. Classic for a reason.
Handcrafted coffee, a creek out back, and a hundred good reasons to sit a little longer. This is The Daily Bean.
Before it was The Daily Bean, this cottage on Route 515 held someone else's dream — a small antique shop that never quite found its footing. Rather than let the building sit empty, Mark and Gina Dobrowolski saw something else in it: worn wood floors that wanted foot traffic again, a creek out back that nobody was sitting beside, and a town that didn't yet have a place to gather.
So they reimagined it. Room by room, the antiques gave way to a coffee bar, the back room opened onto a creekside patio, and the whole place filled with the smell of fresh espresso instead of dust. What didn't change was the character of the building itself — the cottage bones, the sense that this place has always belonged here.
Today, The Daily Bean is exactly what Vernon was missing: somewhere to bring a book, a laptop, a dog, or a friend, and just stay.
Paninis pressed hot, bowls built fresh, and a mac and cheese that has its own following.
Grilled chicken, crisp bacon, ranch, pressed golden.
A lighter panini with smashed avocado and a squeeze of lime.
Blended fruit, house granola, whatever's ripe this week on top.
The cold-weather order. Ask anyone who's had it twice in one week.
Small-batch drinks and dishes that come and go with the season. Ask what's pouring today.
A cozy-season pour, sourced from local maple where we can.

Board games on the table, a book from the shelf, a dog curled up under your chair. Our patio isn't designed to turn tables — it's designed for the opposite.
Behind the cottage, a creek runs through Hidden Valley — quiet, constant, easy to lose track of time next to. It's the reason people say this doesn't feel like a coffee shop. It feels like somewhere they escaped to.
Bring a book. Bring nothing at all. The creek doesn't need you to be doing anything.
More About the CreekBean is a French Bulldog, and — no exaggeration — the reason The Daily Bean has the name it does. You'll find him greeting guests at the door, holding court on the patio, or claiming the coziest chair in the house. He's a little grumpy, entirely lovable, and every bit part of this place as the espresso machine.
"Vernon didn't have a place like this — so we built one."
Mark and Gina took a struggling antique shop and turned it into the coffeehouse Vernon didn't know it needed. They've since opened The Place Next Door, an indoor market for local vendors and crafters, right beside the café — because for them, this was never just about coffee. It's about giving the town somewhere to gather.
